Chunky Hammered Torque Bangle
This Solid Torque Bangle is a bold, chunky piece with a lovely handmade feel. Crafted from 100% recycled Sterling Silver, the 8mm band is shaped into a classic open torque design and finished with a hammered texture that adds sparkle and depth. The rivet details give it a subtle industrial touch, making it a great choice for anyone who likes their jewellery with a bit of character.
Although it’s wider than many of my bangles, it’s surprisingly lightweight, so it sits comfortably on the wrist without feeling bulky. It looks fantastic on its own as a statement piece, but it also pairs beautifully with slimmer stacking bangles if you like a layered look. Each bangle is made individually at the bench, so every one has its own unique texture and finish.
Hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office, and available in 9ct Gold on request.

Measuring your wrist or hand is vitally important before buying a bracelet or bangle. I have some tips below on how best to do this so that you can choose the right size for you.
As I handmade everything myself all I will need is your wrist size, and hand size for bangles, and I will make the finished piece to fit you perfectly.
With my lighter chain bracelets, there are a selection of links that you can use as a closure so you can wear your chain as tight or loose as your wish. I usually make the length enough to give you a 'comfort fit' - not too tight and not too loose that it falls off!
How to Measure for Bracelet Size
- Measure around your wrist at the wrist bone. Choose a place where you would normally wear a bracelet.
- Use a measuring tape and make a note of size.
- Alternatively you can use a strip of paper and mark on it with a pen where the end meets the paper. Lay this out flat and measure with a ruler.
How to Measure for Bangle Size
- Hold your hand as if you were putting on a bangle. Bring all of your fingers together with your thumb and little finger touching.
- Measure around the hand at the widest point with a tape measure or a strip of paper. Be sure to pull the paper or tape measure snug against your skin. Mark the paper with a pen and measure it with a ruler.
Choose these sizes on the website so that I am able to calculate how big to make your finished piece.
When you receive your bangle or bracelet and it doesn't feel quite right for you, just let me know and I will adjust it free of charge!
